About Maria Earle-Gal
I became a coach because I understand what it means to keep going when life asks more than feels sustainable, and how much difference it can make to have space to pause, take stock and work out what matters.
My own life has included career change, starting over in unfamiliar places, raising children across languages and cultures, and navigating the responsibilities that come with caring for others. These experiences have shaped how I see the world and how I coach: with curiosity, empathy and an appreciation for the complexity of people’s lives.
Before founding InCompass, I spent more than 20 years working in HR and organisational change, helping people and organisations navigate change, complexity and different ways of working across international environments.
That combination of lived experience, professional experience and coaching informs the work I do today.
My Approach: Structured, but never rigid
Coaching with me is a space to pause, step back from the noise and make sense of what is happening.
I’ll listen carefully, ask questions that help you explore what matters, and question assumptions or patterns that may be getting in the way. I won’t give you a formula or tell you what you should do. My role is to help you see your situation from different angles, consider what else might be possible, and decide what you want to do next.
My approach draws on coaching, psychology, stress management, HR and organisational change, as well as my experience of working across cultures and different perspectives.
You bring the expertise in your own life.
My role is to help you use it.
Experience That Informs My Coaching
My coaching is informed by more than 20 years in HR and organisational change, working with people and organisations across different countries, cultures and contexts.
My academic background spans Psychology, Intercultural Humanities and Business, including a BA, MA and EMBA. I am an ICF ACC credentialed coach, with additional training in stress management.
My professional experience has given me an understanding of the systems, expectations and pressures that can shape the choices available to us, as well as the realities of navigating change and complexity within organisations.
My own life has also shaped how I see the world. Living and working across Trinidad & Tobago, Germany, Hungary and the UK, and raising children across languages and cultures, I have experienced first-hand how context, assumptions and perspective can influence how we experience work, relationships and change.
I bring these professional, academic and personal perspectives into coaching without losing sight of what matters most: your experience, your perspective and the choices you want to make.
